I just got a call from my realtor, my short sale is approved!!! The closing is set for October 3rd or so... On one hand, it's a sad day for me to let my first and only house go after I've done over $30,000 in upgrades since I bought it 3 years ago. On the other, it's better than walking away or suffering through a foreclosure or even worse, bankrupcty.

I'm so excited. From now on, all purchases will be measured against 3 criteria:
1. Do I REALLY need it
2. If I don't really need it but really want it, see number 3...

Congratulations, BH dreams!! So, now we will all await your progress to find out which of our cities you decide on, once you get yourself all squared away!
Well, I'd be leaning towards the Custer/Keystone area but it all depends on how things go at my new job. It could be a couple years off yet. I've got to pay down my debts and get a plan for out there first. Either way, I'll still be here on the forum chiming in on things until the time comes when I can head that way.
