Actually, it's a National Historical Park...better than "tourist attraction." I would actually like to go there, since those silos were the reason I got to grow up here. My dad was a Minuteman mechanic. I believe the silo they used to make this park is the very one my dad fell down - from the top to the bottom! I told him I thought they should put a sign there commemerating the fact that he actually survived! (All he managed to do was break his leg!)

The silos are there. The missiles have been changed out, but the silos are still there.
Many were sold to interesting parties. I guess it's kind of nice to have a 9 story home, built in the ground. Saves on utility costs. hahaha
But many are still there. Still setting out in the middle of nowhere. Still active, still ready to go.
