The first person to win four individual event gold medals in successive Olympics (Discus; 1956-60-64-68), Al Oerter passed away last night. He was 71.

I remember watching him in the olympics with my brothers. We tried to copy his spinning move throwing anything we could get our hands on (except moms plates).
