Not only that they missed the playoffs in 2011 and hasn't won a playoff game since 2009 but constantly when you watch SportsCenter the team is always in the news.

Giants..................won the SB 2 years ago and you never hear anything about them on ESPN

Skins....................the best team in the division and have not heard anything about them on ESPN

But instead you see comments from Vick and what Chip Kelly is saying and the team is not good?

The same reason that people watch "Keeping up with the Kardashians", backyard wrestling or stare at bad traffic accidents. There is something entertaining about spectacular yet oblivious failure.

Same reason why the Saints are always put down and Brees is never recognized. They go for the largest markets no matter what. ESPN sucks anyway.

I'd agree with the above and add that the Eagles have generally been a good team since the late 1980s AND play in a large, East Coast city. If the Eagles' current personnel were instead on say the Cincinnati Bengals or Kansas City Chiefs, you probably wouldn't hear too much about them on ESPN.

But why are they talked about more than teams who have won recently like the Giants?

The saints are always talked about and Drew Brees is always talked about as one of the top 5 QB's. I guess everyone thinks their team isn't talked about enough, because the Ravens just won the SB, have been in the playoffs 5 years in a row, and in the AFC Championship Game 3 of those years and I think the Saints,Eagles,Packers, and 49ers are all talked about more than the Ravens. Go figure....shrugs.

East coast media bias and the allure of 'underachieving team' to get fans ire up.

I think my Jets are talked about way too much then necessary because they expect us to be real good and we fail time and again. 2009 you got big mouth Coach Ryan near season's end flipping the finger at Miami Dolphins fans (who I hate with a passion including New England and Buffalo) and getting fined for it. 2010 they scare a reporter wanting to interview Mark Sanchez by throwing footballs almost at her and the Tripgate scandal. 2011 we failed to make the playoffs and the locker room goes crazy. Last season, Sanchez is as soft as he's been since being on this team and the infamous butt fumble is still on ESPN's Worst of the Worst list. That's the New York media for you.
