They are the only cities in the U.S. with at least five Super Bowl, World Series and Stanley Cup championships.

Discuss.

There is the slight inconvenience of Boston not having a NFL team.

If New England counts as a Boston team (and metro-wise, it surely does) then you have to add New York to that total.

PS - Why only count Super Bowls, and not all NFL titles? Seems arbitrary. But then, you'd have to add Chicago to the list.

So, Boston would then be the only city in America with five Super Bowl, World Series, Stanley Cup, and NBA championships. Despite being a city with only one team in each sport (Metro NYC has 9 teams; Chicago, LA...).

That I hate just about every team from both of them (excluding the Patriots, who I don't mind, and the Bruins, who I merely dislike)?

And if the bolded is true, then why count World Series and Stanley Cup titles from before the 1966 season (the year the first Super Bowl was played)?
