Golf bags

Can you still buy golf bags with both stands AND single PADDED straps? Seem they all have "backpack" style straps.....which I hate.

Anyway, straps are detachable on all but the very cheapest of bags. Buy the bag you want, then buy the strap you want.

I tried finding single PADDED straps for golf bags. They aren't available anymore.

I got a stand bag on closeout about two years ago and it only came with a single strap. So I guess they do exist (the bag is made to use single or dual straps). But I didn't even check as I figured they all came with dual-straps.

That said - it's fairly easy to just use one strap instead of both (which I actually do more often than not). You can also get replacement straps. So it'll be an extra cost. But if a single strap is what you want....

Search for a so called "Sunday bag" or "carry bag". They are usually very lightweight with a single strap, but you can get them with backpack straps as well. Usually have one or two small packets for "stuff", unlike the bigger "cart bags".
