We are thinking of relocating to Springfield from Topeka. I was wondering about realtors and if there is anyone to show us or tell us the better parts of town. We are tired of the crime in Topeka and there being nothing to do especially for my 4 year old daughter. Is there a lot to do there with kids and is it easy to meet people? Are there any montessori preschools? Are there any Catholic schools? I am wondering about the crime also. I think the crime is better there than Topeka? My mother would be coming with us. Is it a good place to retire? We are planning on coming to visit in a couple of weeks so if anyone could answer my questions I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm pretty sure crime here is much lower than in Topeka.
Yes, we've got a Catholic High School on the east side of the city.
