We will be moving around the Scott AFB area later this year. I would like some honest opinions on the area. I would like to live someplace that #1 has good schools, #2 safe neighborhoods, #3 not too far of a commute from Scott, #3 a nice place to live.
I have heard that O'Fallon is the best. Is that true? Shiloh is supposed to be good as well. We are looking to rent b/c we already own a home. If we stay in the area long then we will be looking to buy.
Schools and safety are the main things that I am interested in. I like cleaner areas. Hopefully, there are parks and things to go to as well.
I would also love any imput on a pediatrician, pulmonoligist, allergist, OB, PCM, vet. All those real fun things that you have to find when you move
It could always be worse. In this economy I am happy that we have a job.
