I financed a 1994 Subaru SVX with 50,000 miles on it back in 1999. It was an absolutely beautiful car that was totally unique and was a dream to drive. It was the one car where I would always have people on the road and gas stations complementing me on it, and asking "what is that." The only flaw was it was overweight and underpowered. I still miss that car. I would like to get another one, but they are very expensive to maintain, and I could not afford it at this time. Here is what mine looked like, except mine was an emerald green color.

I always thought they were pretty cool looking if not a bit ugly with the strange window design.

I've always wanted one!!! It is the only car to have copied the DeLorean's idea of mini-windows (I don't consider the Countach's 3 section window a similar concept at all).

They drive like a Lexus, albeit with less acceleration. That is because they are quite porky at 3,700 pounds. Still, I have always had a fascination with them ever since I owned one. I have revived my interest because I found on here for sale locally on Ebay. They are so rare that this is probably one of my last chances to own one. It is also the blue color too which I really love....

Yeah, real funny. I owned one and not one person ever said such a thing to me. Care to post links to either list since you want to be a troll??? I don't think so since they do not exist. I just checked.

No, serious, I saw it about a week ago on one of their lists. I'm not a troll, I just was looking through the threads and saw it. My friend is a mechanic at a subaru dealership and he owned one so that's why I remembered it. His was emerald green as well.
I will look for the link and post it.

I don't think he's joking. I've heard it called ugly on several occasions.

It was a flop which I will admit. I got a job when I was 18 at a dealership that sold Subaru's, Saab's, and Volkswagen's. I got to drive a brand new one back in 1993. I was just a kid so I immediately floored it even know it only had like 10 miles on it LOL. I was disappointed in the acceleration, especially since it was supposed to be a sports car. When they were new, the price was a rip off. However, the overall driving experience was quite pleasurable. That is why later on I bought one which was 5 years old, and I could actually afford. The article you posted said the styling is awkard. That is different from ugly. Ugly is a Pontiac Aztek. The car is not for everyone, so keep that in mind.
