Hi Guys, I went to look for an apt yesterday. Unfortunately, Clarendon, Vincent, Jefferson, Madison, Nobhill...all are not available at this time. Now I am back in Westchester County and plan to hunt a apt in Syracuse next Thursday. Could you guys give me some suggestions? The new semster is pretty close, I gotta find a place to stay...

I'd go with Old Liverpool Road, but it is further away from campus. Do you have a car?

You'll be fine there. Is it an apartment? Also, it is easy access to I-81 to campus.

Definitely anything on Old Liverpool Road will be a better choice than Burnet. How many BR and what price range do you seek?

One of my friends signed the contract with Nobhill for 2 br apt. But the utility is not included. So...guys, could you estimate the cost for the utility in the freaking winter?

thanks

I replied separately on the post you made about utilities at Nob Hill. I think if you budget 4100 for the worst part of the winter you can probably keep it at or below that number assuming you turn heat down when not at home and don't jack it up really warm when you are there.

You will be pleased with the choice I think. IMO it's as safe a location as you can get in Syracuse and has a mix of elderly folks, some young and middle aged professionals and some young professional families with child.
