So... what they do about concerts if it may rain? Tuesday is not looking so good, weather wise.

^They still go on, as it rained almost everyday this past week and concerts still went on as usual.

Went yesterday and had an AWESOME time!!! The weather was a little scary in the afternoon because it was POURING at several different times, but it stopped in time for Culture Club at 8 PM. 8:30, to be exact, due to the sweeping of standing water off the stage.

I got to the gate early and netted a 3rd row center seat. Got some nice photos and video. They put on an awesome show (hey SPAC, how about booking them for next year, hmmmm???). The place was packed. Nice thing was the rain cooled the temperature down, which was good because we were all on our feet dancing for the whole show. Got a good omen from a huge rainbow that appeared at one point and didn't disappear until the sun went down. That was symbolic in more ways than one.

They played for an hour and a half, doing some of their hits plus some other tunes. I was able to snag one of the tour shirts after the show (I have shirts for all 3 Culture Club concerts I've been to). Got home around 2 AM, and am now home recuperating. I was there the whole day, so did a lot of walking. Saw some rides I wanted to go on, and tried a wine slushy for the 1st time.

I may be going back this Sunday because my friend's band will be playing at the Latino Village from 7-10 PM.
