Hi! Im back here reading the forums again, this time Im moving to the water.

Last time I was active was a few years ago. I was moving from Boston to Orlando. This site helped me get to know Orlando from 1300 miles away, and Im hoping to get to know the west coast of pinellas county this time around! Only this time I can head on over on my days off. Alot easier!

We were in downtown St Pete a week ago - Loved it! I could live there too, although I think Id get more fro my money in other areas of the pinellas peninsula.

I should say Im a renter, 2 ppl. prefer a 2 bedroom, but probably settle for a 1 bedroom. The beach area south of clearwater would be ideal. I know the Treasure isle/Capri area somewhat because of lifelong visits with grandparents and old aunts and uncles.

I cant help but love the scooters and the bicycles on Gulf blvd cruising by, parked at bars and restaurants, grocery getting.. the locally owned establishments..unlkike here in Orlando where everything is traded publicly. Im in the restaurant industry so Ill try to work in one of these places.

Im making a trip out there next weekend to look around again.

Any help would be awesome!! Thanks again!

Check out anything from Reddington, Madeira, Treasure Island, Indian Rocks, Sunset Beach, or Tierra Verde (although that will be more expensive). I think Madeira will be on the lower end of rents and (in my opinion) it is easier to get from Madeira to stores in Seminole or Pinellas Park.

Also pretty easy to get to shops and major routes if you are in Indian Shores and Indian Rocks. There are a lot more smaller 1/2 bedroom condos in these beach areas. If you want to know about specific condo developments on I/S or I/rocks, I know a lot of them personally feel free to ask
