And to Crystal River and Palm Harbor?

Dade City is not near the interstate so a commute from there to Palm Harbor or Crystal River would not be fun. Also, Dade City's schools are not the best. Pasco High has come a long way but the elementary schools have their problems.

If you have your heart set of being in that area I would at least pick San Antonio. It is closer to the interstate and San Antonio Elem is nicer. But San Antonio is definitely not a, run to "Wal Mart for a minute" place. (As in, it isn't close to much.)

Looking about 55 minutes to Port Richey, a little over an hour to Palm Harbor or Crystal River. Of course it also depends what parts of each area you are at.
Some parts of what is called Dade City actually stretch up to S.R. 50, not in the city limits but is still considered Dade City.

Sound like a bad idea. Thanks for the replies, everyone! I think he's not opposed to a 30 minute highway commute, but stop lights the whole way would make anybody crazy!

I drive everyday from Wesley Chapel to trinity and it is a very good travel. Never traffic jams since the traffic jams are the other way in the morning and evening...

Of course the distance makes it a certain time for driving but I don't mind driving it every day since I'm often doing business on the phone and that makes me forget the travel time, and otherwise i listen to the radio stations that I like.
