returned items are msotly returned to the vendor.. or burned. I dont know, how you will get those as the losses are used for tax purposses.

Look for open package items in the stores as well as online. Amazon sells open box items like diapers - it comes repackaged (but still in original plastic package, without original box for example). Something like baby lotions and creams are going back to the vendor. Some are going to compactor on the back of the store and some (something in original box) goes to donation centers.

There are many outlets down in Miami that sell store returns or surplus. We rented a uhaul trailer, bought two pallets and brought them back and sold them online and some on craigslist. I still have a lot left and decided reselling items is not for me... too much effort.

We bought pallets of electronics. I still have a ton of small guitar amps among a ton of other things. I really need to have a garage sale or post them on Craiglist as a lot for another reseller or thrift store. At this point I just want it out of my garage and to get some of my money back.

Well this thread was eye opening....do those of you that 'resell' tell your buyers that you bought these as repackaged/returned items? Just curious. This is why I'll fork over the dough for items from the store.
