Hello,

I have some gently used, good quality men's clothes that I would like to sell. Does anybody know of places in Tampa / St. Pete that purchase such items? Any information you can provide will be appreciated.

Thanks, and hope all of you have a great holiday season!

How about this place
Just Men Consignment Store - Brandon, FL, 33511 - Citysearch

There aren't a lot of places that sell used men's clothes. Maybe Craigslist?

Thanks! That link is helpful.
Craigslist is an option, but too much work and inconvenience (take pictures of the items, safety issues, etc).

A question for the people here: What do you do with clothes that are in good to great condition, but you don't want to use them anymore?

Any other inputs will be appreciated, thanks!

I've found the best way to go is eBay. Their fees have gotten ridiculous over the years, but you won't get more for pre-owned clothes anywhere else. I tried selling a Robert Graham shirt to Plato's Closet once and they said they best they could give me is like $3. Insane.

I've tried selling clothes on craigslist too, but I barely got any response. With eBay you have a much larger market, especially if you sell international.

I take my extra clothes to Goodwill or Salvation Army. There are several donation centers in the area.

The Brandon location is closed... anyone know if the Tampa one is still open? Couldn't tell from googling it.

Plato's Closet buys men's and women's clothes. I'm just not sure what they accept and don't. I know they like name brand clothes.

My boyfriend has three closets of clothes! The clothes are dated to say the least, but are name brands, most gently used and some still with tags. Suits, long and short sleeve dress and casual shirts, slacks, shorts and polo type type collared shirts. Sizes from 36 to 44. He wants to put the clothes to good use, but like to consign, but where?
