More of a broken storm drain (culvert) than a true sinkhole. Another difference is the New Hampshire DOT had it fixed in less than 12 hours whereas the Florida DOT would have taken a week.

I was kind of hoping they'd take the opportunity to try to recover the guy's remains. It's always haunted me how they just assumed he was toast and let him rot.

He could be miles deep or even on another planet. No telling where that hole would take ya.
