We are in St. Pete and need someone that can re-stitch the seats on our boat. The boat was stored in a garage under its fitted cover for 4+ years. the seats were conditioned prior to it being stored and are in great shape but the stitching has what looks like dry rotted. Any pressure on them and the seams pop. I can sew but do not think this is a job that I can handle. any recommendations of someone that can do this. That can stand behind their work?

No upholster worth anything would touch this, the seats need to be recovered, if you think different than buy a upholstery machine and try it yourself, Been a marine/aircraft upholster for 45yrs

There is a guy off Manhattan ave and like wallace ave in S Tampa that restiched some seats in my Nautique. Wasn't quite OEM but looked good enough for a sale.

If you suggest replacing the whole seat cover can you direct me to where I should go? do they come to the boat or do I remove the cushions and take them? any advice is welcomed.

We would want it to look as close to original as it can. The boat only has 38 hours on it but then was put in a garage and just sat.

There's a company in St Pete that comes to you.
