We've been house shopping Mirabay in Apollo Beach and I've been struggling to find any recent reports on the air quality. I see that TECO has made investments to clean up in the recent years but can't find any independent data on whether it has made a difference. Has anyone see any info? Thanks for your help!

Most times we have a pretty good upper level flow to flush things around. Sometimes in the summer with high pressure locked in the mid and upper levels we will have sinking air that will cause the air to become a little dirty.

Even if the air is OK, those ugly smokestacks are a deal-breaker for many.

If I can answer any questions about Mirabay, PM me.

My wife and I use the stacks as a landmark. We cannot see them from where we live. They are no big deal.
