Shadracks is practically upscale compared to the way it was in the 70s. Most, if not all the places I use to visit are gone - Sandsabar, Oyster Shucker, Harp and Thistle, Driftwood, Club Detroit (but it's getting resurrected
Club Detroit reopening next to Jannus Live in St. Petersburg | Things to do in Tampa Bay | Tampa Bay Times ), Skips, Clancy's.
The Billmar on TI has a cool little bar.

The Emerald (Central Ave around 5th or 6th St) might be the dive-iest dive bar in St. Pete. I do not know if they have food there. I do know, if they do have food, I would not order it.
