My husband recently took a job in Spring Hill, FL. It's not a very desirable area to live. So after doing a little research online I've we've come up with Trinity and New Port Richey as possible relocations. Good schools, shopping, and culture are important to us. Does anyone have any advice? A little night life would be nice too:-) Thanks!

Gee, I don't think Spring Hill is all that bad really. But if you want shopping then consider staying close to the Suncoast Parkway. It goes to Tampa and malls are easily found there. There are lots of new sub-divisions along SR-54 by Trinity & New Port Richey and the schools seem to have few complaints. Culture is in the eye of the beholder so it depends on what you like. Let me know what you're looking for and I can probably help you find it.

There are plenty of nice spots in spring hill. Just because you cant find them, does not mean the entire area is not desirable to live in.

Spring Hill
Well, there are some nice areas of Spring Hill, nice subdivisions, some good to excellent schools, and we're getting more shopping every day, with no need to go further South. And as a afterthought, took a ride to the new WireGrass mall, didn't impress me very much at all, only went to see Barnes and Noble, which won't come to Spring Hill, because we're not educationed enough or so they say.
I'd take Spring Hill over New Port Richey anyday

I Like the New Port Richey area, specially the Gulf Harbors Subdivision.

Sarah, your post is just too vague. Are you looking to rent or buy and if so, what is your price range? What age/grade are your children? What type of neighborhood are you looking for? What qualifies as night life? Sorry, but it's hard to answer without more information.

Night life in Pasco. Riiiiiight. The only night life out here consists of downtown New Port Richey (lowlife central) and maybe the cigar bar in Longleaf (actually pretty nice but waaaaay toned down). If you like strip clubs, you have a load of them to choose from..lol.
