Just moved here from Michigan, so far, I'm loving it & pretty happy. But, where in the world do you buy cigarette tubes out here?? Seems like all there is are cigar stores, but no RYO/MYO shops available!! Cigarette stores were all over the place in Metro Detroit.

I'm in the Riverview area. Any help would be great!! I'm desperate here.

I'm also kindly asking that if you can't help, please don't bother posting your opinions on smoking and/or other useless comment. It's been a very rough move, & I'm really not in the mood to read what some people post needlessly & have nothing better to do in their life than to sit behind a computer & spout off their mouths on some forum. (I've read here a lot before the move, so I know how it can be). Thank you very much.

What exactly is a cigarette tube? If it's something that you can find in a headshop, there are plenty of those around.

I'm in Michigan now but originally from FL and come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen tubes in FL. Probably because compared to MI cigarettes are way cheaper in FL and you can get brands down there you can't get here. 305's brand and Sport Cigarettes I believe are still $25 or so a carton in FL, it's pretty tough to justify the time and expense with RYO when you can get a pack of cigs for $2.50 a pack.

Up here I had to resort to pipe tobacco with tubes because the new tobacco tax raised the price of RYO to $25 for 6oz bag.

These........filtered empty tubes and you put them on a machine and it stuffs them with tobacco and makes a cig.

That amazes me cartons for 25.00 because SC has always been the cheapest for cigarettes in the country...always. Very little tax on them...and the cheapest I've seen is maybe 31.00 a carton, but I forget what they were (maybe Marlboro's that were on sale).

Try Edward's on Henderson in Tampa. It's mostly a cigar store, but they sell supplies for rolling your own cigarettes.

I've never heard of tubes before now, but there is a Tobacco Depot in Carrollwood...I buy gift cigars there. After looking up their website, they have several stores. Give them a call...maybe they will have or know where you can get what you're looking for --> Cigar Depot

There's a little cigar shop in the Lowes shopping center on Gibsonton. One of my neighbors rolls her own and I'm almost positive she gets them there. There's also a cigar shop on Bloomingdale in the Walmart shopping center that probably has them.

I'm smoking 305's now until I get a hold of some tubes. A carton here of 305's is about $36.00. Rolling my own is about $13.00 a carton. As you can see, rolling my own is much cheaper. Most RYO people are using pipe tobacco now. I'm sure it will only be a few months before taxes on that will be raised. I plan on quitting (again) soon anyways.
