My fiancee, myself and our newborn were thinking of moving to Post Harbour Place but are not sure if its a good place to move because of some things we've read on apartmentratings.com. I'm not sure if the people are just complaining or really mean it's that bad. thanks for your help.

i toured the community myself. It seemed like it could have some loud people, but when I asked about the people that lived there, they could only tell me that they DO NOT rent to undergrad students. A friend said it is a lot of young people there. the ONLY benefit to that place is the INCREDIBLE location, so i have been told.

If you listen to that apartmentratings site, you will never find a place to move since every complex has WORST APT EVER!!! all over it. Disgruntled people complain on websites, happy tenants usually don't even consider going on the internet to rate their apartment community. Most of the happy posts are from the leasing office trying to counter the bad press. You have to take all that with a grain of salt.

Post has a reasonably good reputation around town, but they really can't do much to control the demographics of their tenants due to fair housing rules. The complaints I have seen on that site are mostly centered around the tenants being rude and inconsiderate. I have lived in many complexes all over Tampa and let me tell you, tenants are rude and inconsiderate everywhere, and there isn't much you can do about it. Concentrate on finding an apartment in a good location with a responsive leasing office and competent maintenance.

Post is one of the larger Aprtment Rental Community companies in the area, and are very professional. The places are in a GREAT location if you are interested in a downtown location, waterfront, walkable to everything, and safe.

I agree Post has some great apts in good locations. As Tilli stated.. unhappy ppl complain, happy ppl usually don't on those websites. You also have to consider what the ppl are complaining about. I lived at The Cove and loved it there for 5 years, were there things that happened that I didn't like of course there were but nothing so bad that we moved because of it.
