OK, when did NCLB and IDEA change the rules to say every IEP student outside a self-contained setting was ONLY allowed 5 hours resource time?

Did I miss something?

I am being told my IEP students can only comeout of their "inclusion" setting for 5 hours a week. If this is true, can someone cite chaper and verse?

Can you ask the higher-up at school to verify this is a legal mandate? Sounds like a cost-cutting move.

It has beed issued by the county ISD. Originally we were told by the school admin / district superintendent that students were NOT to be in the resource room for any reason.
