Hello, I just wanted to get your opinions on my career outlook. Any advice is appreciated!

I am a current undergraduate student studying French and Russian. I want to become a high school teacher in California.

What do you think about my career outlook? Are there many jobs for foreign language teachers?

Also do private schools hire graduates( even without a teacher credential?

Thanks

Teaching jobs typically vary from area to area. In some areas there are lots of math teachers needed, while in another part of the nation, there may be lots of science teachers needed. You might want to check with the Bureau of Labor Statistics. I will leave the link below. I hope that helps! I wish you lots of success with your career!

Private schools may hire without teaching credentials, but if you know that you want to be a high school teacher, I might suggest trying to see if you can get the credentials to open your options.
