Hey there everyone. Just wondering where there might be heated indoor pools around Athens? Or anywhere from Chattanooga to Knoxville. I'm about an hour or less from either one.

Maybe try the YMCA, or the community center, sometimes a college or local high school will have an indoor pool that the public can use during certain times.

When I lived in Tennessee, I used to swim at the indoor pool at the old Tennessee Military Institute (TMI) campus (not far from Niota). That place was later known as Tennessee Meiji Gakuin (TMG) campus in Sweetwater. That school was closed down couple of years ago, so I don't know what has became of it. Such a beautiful campus!

The Rush and National Fitness Centers have indoor heated pools...and hot tubs in Knoxville and Oak Ridge.

Kilgore is right... that pool at Hamilton YMCA (Exit 5 off I-75 at Shallowford Rd.) is always warm.
