Has anyone ever heard of this construction company? I believe they are based out of McMinneville, and buld mostly log homes. if anyone has any good or bad or any info on this company, please I would love to hear about them!

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that company. I did chat with the folks at Honest Abe Log Homes (silly name) one time and they seemed like they might be good people to deal with. I was thinking about a weekend cabin in the woods at the time. That's all I did, just talked with them, so I don't have any experience with going through the whole construction process. You'd probably want to talk to someone who has.

Honest Abe Log Homes has a nice package,"BUT" like a lot of the Log Home Builders they want you too become the sub contractor,doing the leg work for all the crews that will build your home from scheduling too pulling permits.If your up too it, It's a great way too save money............

I wasn't trying to "push" them. They were okay to talk to however; pretty helpful, pretty knowledgeable. I finally decided I didn't want a log cabin anyway.

this is not a log home company, they build homes, they don't sell homes. we hear alot about builders going into build, but not finishing homes. has anyone had a problem with this company building their home?

Check with the local Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.........
