I'm looking to rent a house near the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville TN. My girlfriend will be at the center, and I need to find a place where I can work from home near the center. I do multimedia work for a company that makes interactive museum exhibits, so I would need a place that can get a DSL connection so that I can upload the files I work on to my employer's server.

You'll probably have more luck in the Cookeville area. Cookeville is only about 20 minutes from the craft center and is about 10 times the size of Smithville. Appalachian Center for Craft is run by Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville. The Cookeville paper's web site is:
