Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday surrounded by the people and food that make you happy. May you be safe and warm. If you are traveling may you have an uneventful trip.
We are spending the day with family in East Tennessee and then heading out Friday for a road trip to a little historic town in another state for an extended weekend. No crazy shopping malls for me but I will have my iPad and a credit card at my fingertips while my husband is driving.
What are your plans?

My iPad does not have wifi. Always been impressed with the iPhone connectivity on road, though. How is the iPad? Can you actually order things from Amazon while going 65 mph???

Have fun putting up your Christmas tree! Even though I am a summer baby and love living on the lake in the summer I love this time of the year!
We have the Verizon Wireless family plan and all of our wireless devices are under that. We all have iPhones and iPads except one kid has an android phone. I travel a lot, I have literally been on an airplane trip each week for the last month, and my iPad has done great everywhere. I definitely can buy on Amazon while husband drives, I think he has me drive sometimes to slow that activity down! Ha! have an Amazon Prime membership and like to use their Instant Video and Kindle for iPad app.
I just got a message also from someone else that doesn't post but is a lurker on here. There are a lot of lurkers that appreciate all of the regular members posts so from them to you I also say Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm glad to not be moving this year, like I was last year. It's going to be a joy to make dinner and then sit down and relax. My daughter and I are volunteering at Fantasy of Trees in Knoxville. It's a great charity event that is so pretty and gets everyone in the mood for christmas. Come out and visit if you live in Knoxville!
