My family and I are planning to move to Manchester in Febuary. I was wanting to know from anyone currently living in that area, is it A good place to raise a family and are the schools good. My parents live there and they love it. But I wanted to get some info from other people.

Its a good placeto live. Its always calm and never any trouble. Only drawback is that there is never anything to do.

There's a HUGE music festival called Bonnaroo that's held there once a year. I don't think it's in the downtown however. I believe the band, The Police, are actually reuniting there this year for the first time since 1983.

Hey there I used to live in Manchester, Tennessee back in the 80's. I graduated in 1988 and moved away. I am thinking of relocating there myself. It has really grown over the last 20 years. The schools are great. I really enjoyed going to school there all my years. The scenery is fantastic!! I really think you will love it there.
