Does anyone know any builders building in small towns ? I am looking to escape the feel, traffic and congestion of a city and move to a smaller town where the retirement pace matches my surroundings.

We are looking for at least an acre in a heavily wooded area hopefully with some kind of mountain view and no HOA fees.

250K budget.

Thanks
Rodney and Alicia

It sounds like you are describing Cumberland County. There are two popular retirement communities, Fairfield Glade and Lake Tansi Village, but these would both have HOA fees. However, there are many other small communities nearby that may interest you. I'm not sure if Cumberland Cove has HOA fees.

Thanks for your reply, we looked at Crossville and the area just did not spark enough interest or we just did not look at enough properties.
