Low paying jobs are better than no job ONLY when the worker is able to become independent from social services (free lunch, section 8 housing, food stamps, etc). People need to make a living wage for the economy to perform best. That is why I don't like to see the creation of 100,000+ minimum/low wage jobs glorified by the Frenchman.

Probably a mix of job types, but we must take "poor people jobs" into account as well.

I can assure you that most of the 7100 jobs created in Midessa are not minimum wage jobs. They are oilfield jobs that pay well and don't require a lot of education, but do require a huge amount of hard work.

The number of private sector jobs the Legislative Budget Board predicts will be LOST in 2012 and 2013 courtesy of the House's budget bill.

So much for all that job growth.

Key word there being "predict". Let's wait until the actual numbers.
