Today is the 181st anniversary of the Goliad massacre.James Fannin and his men gave their lives for Texas when they were executed after surrendering to the Mexicans.Remember Goliad and God Bless Texas!

I would rather not remember a bunch of people were not texans and were considered traitors..thats what happens if you are a traitor, you get killed.

Keep in mind I was a History teacher and even after 30+ years could never figure out why the Alamo struck such a chord while Goliad, which was arguably worse on several levels, did not. Why was that?

Sometimes treason is the ethical and moral course of action. Our founding fathers were traitors. Venezuela is presently in dire need of traitors.

We are Texans and Americans. Treason and rebellion are in our blood. Loyalty to a state is what should be looked at with suspicion.
