I have zero network here in Ohio, and am looking for people to network with. Also open to paying a finders fee for employment assistance. I have already filled out enough applications to get a not so good feeling about jobs here. Business Operations, Bachelors, Entrepreneur.

NW Ohio is a pretty large area. Can you give more specifics about your employment background and what area of NWO you are looking at?

Yes, I am actually in Perrysburg, near Toledo, and open to a 40 mile radius for employment. I am an OSU Alumni. Past experience in importing, textiles, e-commerce, electronics, general business operations and management. Also considering self employment as well as learning a trade. Need ideas. I am very motivated to start bringing in an income. Very motivated.

Thanks for the additional information. Now if our friends who live closer to that area can chime in and offer some assistance, that would be great. I am a little outside of your target area to be really familiar with what is available.

Please, can someone help me out? This was an emergency relocation and finding employment is critical. I am not getting any interviews. I have no network or inside contacts to help open a door.

If you haven't considered this, I'd check with Manpower. They have a professional side of their placement services that sometimes even allows for direct placement. I'd check their website to see what's listed for the area, but also fill out an application on the site in case they have something come up. I'm sure most of the jobs are never listed as they already have qualified candidates on file they can call to take a job.
