Hi.. I am going to join a college in Toronto. I am from US and until I get a new place, I am planning to stay in an apartment rental of Mac suite at North York. But I am not aware about the cost to rent an apartment in this area. If anyone knows about it please help me with the details. If you know about some other resident area in Toronto, please mention about that too.

I am not 100% about the price point, but if the rental is around Young and Sheppard it is likely not really going to be on the cheaper side. Very well connected area ex to transit as on the subway line. Lots of places to eat, shop, gyms, big public library and Mel Lastman Square (many free events throughout the year). This area is a nice mix to urban and residential.

Hi
Macsuites are extremely expensive . if you can afford that you can afford anything.
you can find a decent 1 bedroom for 1200$ month
be aware that with no job you may have to provide a co-signer
