This is why I am hesitant to turn things in that I find. I'd much rather try to track down the owner myself but that is not always feasible, of course.

Terrible that one can't trust airline employees.

Weird. And Alaska/Horizon generally has among the nicest folks working for them at the counters and in the air. Well, she sort of looks like Tonya Harding, who lives in their predominant service area.

Not my experience of them. I had such a bad experience with the Horizon check-in at LAX I complained to Horizon. They then sent me the usual get-lost response. I responded to them pointing out that their reply was unsatisfactory, that I was a frequent flyer and that I had alternatives to Horizon. Got no further reply from them and haven't flown with Alaska or Horizon since. That was three years ago.

Yeah, I ordered a Whopper and asked for no onions, and there were onions. One can't trust the line staff at BK , either. I think I'll just become a hermit, and lock myself in my house, looking out the window with a gun, now that people cannot be trusted anymore.

I'd trust an airline employee with a seat in the US Senate, before I'd trust most of the candidates.

I'd trust an ambulance-chasing lawyer before I trust anybody in Government

There are thieves everywhere and lowered wages only serve to lower standards
