Those are countries you can easily do on your own! Pick up a couple of Rick Steves books to plan what you want to see, use mass transit to get around, this is probably one of the easiest DIY's in all of Europe.
Why do you need a travel company ? Just curious. Europe is a pretty easy destination even for the not so seasoned travellers.
I have travelled round the world all my life and never used a travel company in my life ( apart from "Intourist" which you pretty much had to when visiting Russia and Soviet countires during the Iron Curtain).
I book my flights myself and just read up or search online for accommodation and things to see and do. Much more personal. And much cheaper too. Travel Companies try to "push" certain thigns on you because of commission and if anything I would be more wary of using one than going it alone so speak.
Where in England and Ireland are you going? There is so much to see and do! How long do you plan on being there? What kind of budget do you plan on? What time of year will you be there (that will affect pricing)? Do you want to stay in hotels or B&Bs? Do you want self-catered or dining out? What do you want to see and do?
You can fly between UK and Ireland or you can take the ferries. These run all day every day from a myriad of ports, the biggest of which is probably Liverpool but there are also ports in Wales. Do you want to drive at all or just use public transportation?
Your responses are not helping us help you. If you want specific information you need to give us a more details. Otherwise I would suggest you start looking on Travelocity or just visit a travel agent in your town.
Go to the library and look at a couple of tour books where there are itineraries suggested. London to Cork offers up all kinds of ideas, but it depends on your style of travel, budget, interests, all kinds of things. You have to do some work yourself, in other words. Then you can ask questions that might elicit suggestions.
