haha...I don't travel as much as I did, but when I read most of these travel threads it's like "yeah, been there, don't that...". It's all part of travel.
Let's see, this week I am in Southern California. See no earthquakes....(oh that's another one I missed, some wildfires during a high desert California trip a few years back, close enough the get a coating of ashes on my rental car).
In 2 weeks I am going to China, let's see what happens. Let's hope my plane doesn't disappear on the way to Shanghai.

technically I was traveling home from work as I drove across the 35W Bridge in Minneapolis, twenty minutes before it collapsed in 2007 and fell 100 some feet into the Mississippi River, killing 13 and injuring 145. Drove across it twice a day for probably 15 years and the resurfacing project going on had 2 lanes, each way, of bumper-to-bumper traffic crawling across during rush hour. Nature of my work could have just as easily delayed me 20 minutes that particular day.
