Most airports have passengers enter and exit through the main terminal, and then have them transfer to/from the terminal where their gate is.
If it's an airport where there are truly separate terminals and each terminal has its own parking, then it's really just a matter of preference. It may be easier to park at your departure terminal so save time when you have a flight to make, but you may also want to park close to your arrival terminal because you'll be tired from traveling and just want to get to your car quickly.
In that case, I would park at the Parking Spot, let them shuttle you to/from whatever terminal, and save a fair amount of money (especially if it's a long trip).
