Default Back to Argentina

I was in NW Argentina in September and I'm hungry already for some of those cheap steak dinners and bottles of wine and preponderance of outdoor cafes. Let's see, seasons are reversed down there, if I return in April, the leaves will be falling down there (Fall), if I did it again like this year (Sept.) then it's their Spring and the trees and flowers budding. Can't decided on April or September.

We have a friend who may do a Turning Sixty Moveable Feast in September 2008.
Basically he'll pick a destination and anyone who wants to join in will come along for the birthday trip.
He is thinking about either Montreal or the California wine country, but has not yet chosen. I've been to the wine country and hope he picks Montreal, but it's not my birthday.
I might go visit the kid in France, too--not sure yet.

Depending on how much I get back from taxes, I may take a little winter vacation down to Miami (never been, and it's the cheapest) or someplace in the Caribbean. I have very tentative plans to travel to Croatia this summer.

I'm heading back across the pond this summer--this time to Spain. I've seen N Europe, but never been near the Mediterranean. Looking forward to it!

We are going to Oahu for two weeks in mid January. We have tentative plans to go to Jamaica with a friend who is from there. And we would like to do another road trip somewhere in the great USA this summer, maybe Yellowstone? Oh yes, and my husband may be traveling to Thailand sometime in February while I am slaving away at work. LOL

One of my friends is retiring at the end of '07 and will try Guatemala as a new home base. I'm thinking of checking out the country as soon as I hear they've settled in. I've never been to LA.
