My family is planning a trip to Oregon and we were wondering if anyone knew of a good website or direct airline that has the best deals. Thank you.

Do a Search of this forum.
This question has been asked more than a few times here.
Kayak, ITA, Bookingbuddy, Yapta are all search engines which might be able to help you.

You sign up for airfarewatchdog.com. You plug in all of the airports that you can fly out of. Two to three times a week, you receive an e-mail with all of the discounted fares out of that airport.

Unlike many of the fare search engines, airfarewatchdog carrys ALL of the discount airlines including Southwest, Allegiant, etc. They also cover a lot of the smaller airports.

BTW, OP, where are the flights originating from?

Airfarewatchdog is good.
Yapta help save me a whole lot of money on our flight to France--it tracks specific flights and their cost, and notifies you of price fluctuations.

This question hasn't been asked for at least....a week. LOL

Everyone has good advice - the key to remember is their is no magic site that has cheaper airfare than you can get at the airlines directly. Forget expedia and Shatner and all that junk. So they key is to look at the sites with good search engines (good ones were mentioned above) and make use of your ability to be flexible in times, dates, and nearby airports. Choose the best rate - then go to the airlines with your selection and book it.

I have dialed in the site OneTravel dot com. After observing it for timelines and price. Then I open the carrier website and save a bit more booking with the airline direct. I fly tremendously out of the Canyonlands Field of Moab. OneTravel event addresses smaller airfield destinations, where the others mentioned above do a redirect or deadend, as they do not recognize the airport code: CNY.

Hmmmm, my preference is Southwest but then, there have been a lot of good deals on Expedia. Ive only had one bad experience with US Air, but in the few times of booking with them, have no other real complaints. The secret is booking at least 2 weeks ahead.
