Yes. We stay in condos that are typically timeshares. We get more room and for long vacations having a washer/dryer is handy. I hate coming home w/ tons of dirty laundry to do. Kind of ruins the whole vacation thing. The kitchen is also nice. Great to have a fridge for drinks as we will hit the grocery store and buy a case of water and whatever else we want and have some place to keep it cold. A lot cheaper than having to buy it all day long every day of your entire trip whenever you want something. We also take a small collapsable ice chest with us to take when we are going to be out all day. It is also nice to have snacks and stuff or breakfast and sandwich stuff for some meals so we don't have to eat out for every meal. Then love being in a condo over a hotel room as we can put the kids to bed and we can still stay up and watch tv or whatever and we all have "space".
You do tend to save money when going the condo route and it does make for a nice vacation.
