Check out the designer eyeglasses---she obviously has a great vision plan, too!

Looks like the state didn't go broke in wrinkle cream, though....

Small price to pay to keep that group of Satan's lot away from society...of course if the death penalty hadn't been over turned it would have saved the tax payers a nice amount of $$$!

I didn't realize there was already a thread about Krenwinkel. From the other thread (Bruce Davis):

She claims she wanted to ignite a race war — “Helter Skelter” — that she would ride out, living in a hole in the middle of the earth."

After 21 times in front of a parole board, Leslie Van Houten was finally granted parole (as she was once before, but later denied). Again, Gov Brown has to make the final decision as to her release.

"Her death sentence was thrown out more than 40 years ago, and she has spent most of her life eligible for parole yet still in prison. She has repeatedly expressed remorse for her crime. There is no evidence that she would pose a danger to anyone. Isn’t it time that California released her?

No."

I think she has served her time and should be eligible for parole finally. Most people just lump her with Charlie and think they are all the same, you have to remember she was under the influence of drugs and charlie back then.

Part of the reason she's been at odds with a succession of parole boards is her refusal to accept responsibility. It was the drugs (from which she was long-weaned when she escaped prison with the help of another con), Charlie, Tex (who told her to "do something," etc., etc.

You pay for your thrills.

Despite what the uninformed believe, this bunch had their death sentences commuted to life with a possibility of parole for one reason: a California SC decision.

Their attorneys have continued to argue against considering the committment offense(s) as a criterion for refusing to recommend parole, something that's always been within the purview of board members. Just ask Sirhan Sirhan.

"If she hadn't been a Manson follower, she would have left prison long ago."
I guess that leaves out the fact that she stabbed Rosemary LaBianca 14 times.
