Like most people who have learned about this area of true crime know John List. But there’s plenty of less discussed ones. One I just listened to a podcast about was Gawain Rushane Wilson. Very disturbing.

For privacy reasons I won't get too specific but a neighbor of mine killed his whole family and then himself in a family annihilator event. IMO due to how tragic these cases are some go un-publicized beyond local coverage.

this is much more common than most people realize.
an example from Utah:

Michael Haight, 42, is believed to have killed his wife, his mother-in-law, and his five children
before taking his own life on Jan. 4 at his home in Enoch, according to police.
The Haights had started divorce proceedings in December 2022.
