Tina Fey this week. Should be good. I noticed that Bristol Palin was in NY this week talking about teen pregnancy. I wonder if this was a cover for Sarah to be in NY?? Hope so.
It would be a riot if they were both on SNL together again.

Guess I'd better set the VCR in case I fall asleep. Love Tina Fey! I hear that Betty White will be hosting sometime in May. I cannot wait for that. I am wondering if they will do any spoofs of Mary Tyler Moore Show or Golden Girls

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Justin Bieber has a crush on Tina Fey?

Default Snl

Saturday night live is just terrible. Im surprised its been on the air since the mid 70s. The best yrs were the 70s-90s (late 90s were so so).

Yup, sucks now. Some funny skits, but overwhelming majority are dumb, not funny

^ ???? Phil was not even on SNL around the time of his death.

I don't know why this thread was even bumped just to hate on SNL. But I for one love SNL and can't even imagine Sat night without it. I have been watching since the first episode. Of course the Chase/Belushi days were groundbreaking, classic tv, but that's when it all was new and those days will never be back again, no matter who the cast is.

There will always be some weak casts/skits/seasons, but there are also always moments of brillance, new classics and great surprises too. Long live SNL!

Phil hartman left snl in 1995. He died 5/28/98 @ age 50. SNL i feel started to lose its punch in 1996. Last sat drew barrymore hosted snl & it was awful. Snl should get better hosts. I have rarely watched it since the late 90s.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You have the right to not respond and this will help the thread die.

I personally think that each generation has their "time" and what is bologna to some is steak to another.
