People are miffed about soon-to-debut TLC show, following 3 men with 'plus-size' women.

TLC doesn't exactly shy away from headline-generating shows, but one that's coming down the pike next month isn't garnering the best of buzz. Per a press release, Hot & Heavy, a reality program that debuts Jan. 7, shadows three men as they "face judgment due to their mixed-weight relationship" with "plus-size women," as well as try to "prove to their skeptical friends, family, and the public that love is love no matter what you look like."

I don't have an issue with the premise of the show. Mixed weight relationships do have issues to overcome. However I think the name is terrible. And I don't understand why it's just regular sized men with plus sized women. Why not regular sized women with big men?

The show doesnt sound even vaguely interesting except to plus-sized people. I can see plus sizes any day at Walmart.

Sounds boring to me, but not offensively bad or anything

I thought it was kind of funny that you mentioned that. People have been complaining for decades about that very fact, those scenarios being portrayed. Ralph Kramden, Doug Heffernan, ("According to") Jim... but the women were still in "decent" shape. Payback time?

Anyway, SO likes some meat, so I'm not going to let him watch this show.

Just kidding! Geez....

Just watch "1600 Pennsylvania" with Donald Trump and Melania.

Yeah i was o n TLC's website and saw they have a show,1,000 Pound Sisters.two women in kentucky that combined weigh that much. One's married and the other is single and living with her sister and brother in law.Now they have this one. Yes, there are women who like big men, and they are normal sized women, or a little heavy, not as big as these women. I think they don't do a mixed show like that because, let's face it men even large men, can find someone eventually, but women not so much.
