Just started last week I think, anyone watching this? It's a prequel to Sex in the City, and follows Carrie Bradshaw's character during her senior year in high school in early 1980s, also part of her life in New York.

I watched it and I liked it. I just wish the 80s fashion, hair, and decor were more accurate. I don't know why people have such trouble redoing the 80s. The Wedding Singer movie had this issue as well.

Anyway I was a big fan of Sex and the City so I was happy to see this show up on TV.

Yea I did notice that, I love the soundtrack, but putting 80's music alone doesn't make real. And I think they probably have writers a lot younger who can not relate or did not do their research (like asking their parents/aunts & uncles from that era). I think its cute show though...

if you wanted to watch Carrie Bradshaw as a teenager in high school, just watch old episodes of "Square Pegs"

The Wedding Singer did most of that stuff intentionally, I believe. They cramed almost everything bad about the 80's into a few days.

I watched most of the premiere but I have to say, not a fan. I don't like the casting. I don't think I'll be tuning in for this one.

I enjoyed it, LOVED the soundtrack. Although I 100% agree, they really need to dial more into the 80's. It makes you wonder if the producers are perhaps afraid it will turn people off.

Not a fan of the original show, movies, etc. I saw the previews for this show on TV.

Not sure why they decided to make her 16. Why is Hollywood obsess with teens having sex, doing drugs, drinking alcohol, etc?? IMO, the show would have been better in college.
