I still watch it and I still love it. I've been re-watching the older episodes when I can't sleep. I never liked Christina so I was glad when she left. Owen hasn't grown on me either and I'd be OK with him leaving.
I was thinking the same thing. That last kiss made me think we will never see him again. No reports of a plane crash so it must be an auto accident? Did he get mugged and killed in DC? Is this the final season of Grey's?
I don't recall that 1st episode at all! Does anyone? I would think something would have looked familiar. Especially Mer and Der already having had sex! I wonder if they filmed that episode for the last year of the series during the first. That was not makeup on the actors making them look young again. I couldn't believe how much they have aged since the first year! McDreamy WAS dreamy back then, wasn't he?

I remember it very well. It was funny to watch them force Alex in- he was added after the began filming. Especially the gallery/007 scene. You see Alex walk into the gallery from a shot behind a blurry ponytail (supposed to be Meredith's). Then they show the gallery from the OR and he's not there. Then you see him standing in the door behind a blurry ponytail. Then back to the OR and he's missing again. I was laughing.
I think Derek looks better now. But Meredith- I don't think I realized how gorgeous she was back then!
I think Meredith is still gorgeous im absolutely loving her new hair color!
I don't think this is the last season but maybe for Derek cause didn't Patrick Dempsey say he was pretty much done with the show?
I enjoyed seeing that first episode and didn't remember it at all. Everyone looked so much younger then -- Meredith, Derek, Bailey and even Christina. I think Meredith is still beautiful and McDreamy is still dreamy.
I, too, will not be happy if they do away with Derek. When it showed him missing, I thought "Oh no, not another plane crash!" It didn't surprise me too much, though, because I had just been thinking that them getting back together and acting so happy was almost too good to be true.
A scenario just popped into my head. I thought wouldn't it be interesting if Derek were in some kind of accident involving a brain injury, and his sister Amelia had to perform the surgery to try to save his life.
