Most know her as Joan Harris on Mad Men but she'll always be Saffron from Firefly to me. (the episode "Our Mrs Reynolds" and again in "Trash") IMHO some of her scenes in "Our Mrs Reynolds" are some of the most sensual in the history of US broadcast teevee.

Very small role in the movie 'Drive'.

I kind of feel sorry for Christina Hendricks. She's actually a really talented actress, but any time she is interviewed or covered at all by the media, all they want to focus on are her very obvious physical assets.

I actually didn't like either MAD MEN or FIREFLY (though Hendricks was great in both), so I'm going to have to go with LIFE.

Never, I say never, have I wanted a "Rate this post negatively" feature more! Looks in the general direction of Mark. S.

Let's just agree that C. Hendricks is very talented. I bet almost every "skinny girl" hates her because she has a major role and can eat normally. (I also feel for Lizzy Caplan - most of her interviews center on her disrobing (not that I am complaining) but her acting is simply marvelous in Masters of Sex and I really hope she wins a major award)

Her guest role on Las Vegas. It's actually the only time I've seen her.

I thought she was cuter in Firefly.

I like her role in Firefly the best but I like her heavier build now. I saw her in some low budget indie film called La Cocina I think, and it was refreshing to see her in something that didn't just focus on her body. A shapely woman with a big chest can just have a conversation and be in a role that doesn't turn her in to a cliche or sight gag, who knew...
