Last night (10/9/13), I watched premiere of new installment to American Horror Story called Coven. The few teasers advertised had folk salivating. First episode was interesting. Writing goes into witch culture of 1800's New Orleans and juxtaposes it with modern-day search for "fountain of youth" by current Supreme Witch named Fiona Goode. Veteran Jessica Lange plays Fiona. Angela Bassett plays an enigmatic voodoo priestess Marie Laveau. Kathy Bates plays deadly socialite Delphine LaLaurie. With this cast and recurring AHS ensemble, expect great acting. The Southern witchcraft presented in first epidsode got me intrigued.

What do you think of it?
