I've got quite a few old TV shows in my Instant Que...oops, it's My List now.
Right now I'm watching A-Team episodes. The shootouts with no one getting shot, the car chases that end up with cars flipping and exploding, stereotypical badguys. Man, it really was so bad it's good.
I've also got Magnum P.I. and Quincy in my list, along with the entire Leave it To Beaver series. Beaver is a little before my time (I'm 42), but I used to watch reruns when I was younger and it still makes me laugh. IMO Quincy still rules as the best coroner in TV history. And Magnum P.I... the cars, the girls and the mustache. It's better than I remember it.
Now if they would just put up Simon and Simon, Hardcastle & McCormick or the Fall Guy.
Anyone else go on marathon binges of old TV shows on Netflix?
Not I because when I first got Netflix I watched The Game then found out the last 2 seasons weren't on Netflix. Still not on there about a month ago so I just watch movies on it now.
Leave It To Beaver, Andy Griffith, Family Ties, The Wonder Years, Freaks and Geeks. I've watched a bit of Miami Vice & Rockford Files too and was surprised to find they hold up pretty well.
[quote=Ellise;31489163]I've done marathons of Married with Children, All in the Family, The X-Files, and Dark Angel.[/]
X-Files was my first marathon when I started using Netflix last fall. Haven't had MwC pop up in my Netflix. If it did, I would take a couple of weeks off work to watch it.
Another heavily watched favorite is Family Ties.
Oh and for you Breaking Bad fans out there, I highly recommend you watch Malcolm in the Middle. Seeing Bryan Cranston as Hal, then seeing him as Walt is just to funny.
As for Rockford Files, that's another one I wish they would put up. That and Dukes of Hazzard.
Aside from the ones mentioned, I go for the original Dragnet. Somehow it is both dated and timeless at the same time.
